Welcome to Operation Arctic! Every day, our kids are bombarded with the message that the Bible isn’t the true Word of God, that it can’t be trusted to tell us the truth about the past or, more importantly, about how we can receive the gift of eternal life. With the Operation Arctic VBS 2017 theme, your kids will warm up to the Word as they explore the coolest Book on the planet and discover how we can know for sure that the Bible is God’s written word to us!
Ages 4 years – 8th grade. Adult classes Sunday – Thursday at 7:00. Family night is Friday. You can register your child at the above link or at the main entrance to the sanctuary when you bring your child.
Your children will learn the ABC’s of becoming a Christian. If you have never placed your faith in Christ, please read below. We’d love to talk to you about faith in Christ.
“A” stands for Admit. A person must admit to God that she is a sinner. She must be sorry for her sin and turn away from sinning. Verses that support this step are Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; and 1 John 1:9.
“B” stands for Believe. A person must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. Verses about believing include John 3:16; John 14:6; and Romans 5:8.
“C” stands for Confess. A person must confess her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read Romans 10:9-10, 13.
After a person admits to God that she is a sinner, repents and turns from her sin, believes that Jesus is God’s Son sent to die to pay for the sins of the world, and confesses that faith in Jesus, she is a Christian and knows Jesus as her Savior.
If the people of your city, of your school, of your family are going to hear the gospel, it’s going to be from your mouth. Encounter Ephesians, and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
