Your children will learn the ABC’s of becoming a Christian. If you have never placed your faith in Christ, please read below. We’d love to talk to you about faith in Christ.
“A” stands for Admit. A person must admit to God that she is a sinner. She must be sorry for her sin and turn away from sinning. Verses that support this step are Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; and 1 John 1:9.
“B” stands for Believe. A person must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. Verses about believing include John 3:16; John 14:6; and Romans 5:8.
“C” stands for Confess. A person must confess his/her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read Romans 10:9-10, 13.
After a person admits to God that he/she is a sinner, repents and turns from his/her sin, believes that Jesus is God’s Son sent to die to pay for the sins of the world, and confesses that faith in Jesus, he/she is a Christian and knows Jesus as Savior.
After church, join us at Laurel Run Park for a church-wide picnic any time after 1:00. Bring your lunch and lawn chairs and enjoy fun and fellowship with church family. Shelter #6 Laurel Run Park 4:00pm – Watermelon (provided by deacons) 5:00pm – River baptism @ boat ramp.
